Wizipan Little Elk Garriott | Rosebud Sioux Tribe
President NDN Collective Wizipan is a member of the Board of Directors of Tribal Ready, PBC, bringing national-level leadership experience across federal Indian policy, Tribal economic development, and community-driven enterprise.
Wizipan currently serves as President of NDN Collective, where he helps advance Indigenous-led solutions that strengthen Tribal sovereignty, economic resilience, and long-term community well-being across Indian Country. He previously served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary – Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he acted as a senior advisor on policies impacting Tribal Nations nationwide. In that role, he helped guide the development and interpretation of federal policies affecting Indian Affairs programs, bureaus, and services, working at the intersection of Tribal governments and federal decision-making. Before his time in federal service, Wizipan served as Chief Executive Officer of the Rosebud Economic Development Corporation, where he led an ecosystem of Tribal enterprises and community-based initiatives on the Rosebud Reservation. His work included launching and growing businesses, supporting workforce development, advancing a Native language immersion school, and restoring a 1,500-head buffalo herd –efforts grounded in both economic strength and cultural revitalization. An enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, Wizipan was raised on the Rosebud Reservation and brings a perspective shaped by both lived experience and national leadership.
