Pilar is a member of the Board of Directors of Tribal Ready, PBC, bringing decades of experience in Indian law, Tribal economic development, and clean energy that strengthens how complex opportunities are evaluated and advanced.

She is a retired attorney who most recently practiced at Quarles & Brady LLP, where she focused on Indian law, Tribal economic development, and clean energy. In that role, she worked closely with Tribal Nations on matters involving governance, energy development, infrastructure, and economic strategy, helping structure initiatives that aligned with sovereignty, regulatory requirements, and long-term priorities.

Her broader legal career includes advising Tribal Nations on complex projects where governance, compliance, and economic opportunity must be carefully aligned to protect Tribal interests and support long-term success.

She currently serves as a Board Member at Western Resource Advocates and as a part-time Faculty Associate and Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where she continues to support the development of future leaders in Indian law and policy.

Her experience spans Tribal energy and infrastructure initiatives, with a focus on ensuring decisions are well-structured, defensible, and aligned with Tribal sovereignty.
